Growing up in the Bronx, New York I was used to big buildings not big barns. The only thing I knew about Vermont was what I saw on the pages of an old book that my Grandmother had. Now, so many years later, my wife and I are in Vermont and those pages have come to life and a dream was born.

Usually when people think of Vermont, they visualize covered bridges and big old barns nestled in green rolling hills and valleys. Things you might see in a New England calendar, as I once did in a book.
Unfortunately, over the years countless beautiful barns and other structures have fallen into disrepair and eventual collapse. Thus the consequences are that the unique history of each structure and the untold stories of all those who gathered and worked within their old walls are gone forever.

With that in mind many years ago we embarked on a journey to save this wonderful iconic post and beam barn from what could have shared a similar fate of the barns long gone.
Our Story...
Our dream was to offer an unmatched, authentic Vermont venue with a little touch of country "chic".... welcome!
A Dream Come True
Many years ago we embarked on a journey to save this wonderful iconic post and beam barn from what could have shared a similar fate of the barns long gone. Not only were we excited about breathing life back into this 118 year old barn but also wanted to ensure the joy that it might give to others to see the original craftsmanship that has allowed these old Vermont structures to endure over time.

The Grand Dam...
Those who have already visited us consider this barn to be the "Grand Dam" of Vermont barns and a "country chic" venue for that fairy tale wedding or any other memorable event or social gathering. With its huge deck overlooking the many fields, the spectacular seven foot Versailles Chandeliers, the adjacent peaceful Missisquoi River and views of Jay Peak, it is our hope that we can share this beautiful structure and her surroundings with all those who want their special moment in time to be remembered forever.
