How It All Started
Before Windy River Farm became a wedding venue, it was simply a dream.
After spending years working in the pharmaceutical world, I found myself wanting something different—something more meaningful, more personal, and more connected to people.
I began imagining what it would look like to transform our barn into a place where others could celebrate some of the most important moments of their lives.
That vision became reality when we hosted our very first wedding—for the daughter of longtime neighbors.
And in that moment, seeing everything come together—the joy, the energy, the meaning behind it all—I knew:
This is what we were meant to do.

At the heart of the property stands our post-and-beam barn, originally built over a century ago and thoughtfully restored to preserve its character while creating a space for modern celebrations.
Nestled on over 230 acres in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Windy River Farm is a place where natural beauty and history come together.
